Merchants Capital announces the appointment of Alaa Alamoudi to its Board of Directors.
Alaa brings two strengths that sit at the core of Merchants Capital’s work. In structured finance, he led the structuring division of Deutsche Bank in Saudi Arabia as Country Head and managed the structured products desk at Banque Saudi Fransi, following treasury and fixed income roles at Samba Financial Group. In corporate restructuring and strategy, he served as Head of Group Risk Management and later General Manager of Operations at Alfaisaliah Group, and co-founded Kenda Food & Supply.
He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University. His appointment strengthens the Board as Merchants Capital builds out its capital markets and advisory business.
