On 2 July 2026, Rikaz Properties appointed Merchants Capital as its financial advisor to structure and arrange institutional financing for its portfolio of hospitality projects.

The portfolio is focused in Aseer, one of the Kingdom’s most distinctive tourism destinations. In Abha, it includes a hotel and branded residences at the gateway to the city’s airport, drawing inspiration from Aseer’s culture, cuisine, and rural heritage. In the highlands surrounding Tanumah, the portfolio includes an adventure and sports resort at Jabal Abdullah and a family eco-resort within Al-Haifah Nature Park.

Together, these projects support the tourism ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030, which positions tourism as a pillar of economic diversification, and strengthen Aseer’s appeal as a year-round destination whose mountains, climate, and heritage attract domestic and international visitors.

Merchants Capital aims to structure the investment to meet institutional investor requirements and arrange the financing needed to advance the projects from development to operation, aligning the interests of the developer, its partners, and new investors.
